Teaching Practice -Phase2 🧑‍🏫🧑‍🏫🧑‍🏫

As part of our BEd curriculum we had  school teaching practice. A.K.M.H.S.S, Mylapore was assigned to us for our second phase of teaching practice. Our team included Chithira, Celia and myself from English optional. This is our second phase of teaching practice. After getting conscent from HM we met our Concerned English teacher Seminisha miss. She helped us in arranging timetable and distributed portions to be taken in the class. Teacher allotted VIII B, VIII C, IX A , and IX B.



FIRST WEEK -1⭐🌟✨

From july 6 onwards our teaching practice at school started. After signing our initials we sat in the class alloted for us. During this week I took the chapter "Tolstoy Farm "by Mahatma Gandhi , for 9th std students. Before entering directly to the lesson I created an informal talk. And asked some questions to bring them towards the chapter. And also showed them some videos related to Gandhiji. Thus it created an idea about the chapter. Each day I used various methods like games, puzzles to make the class more lively and intresting. And also make use of charts and flash cards to gain their attention. Only first two paragraphs of the  prose was completed. I gave homework and activity and it was done in the class itself. They all actively responded to the questions and activities. And all were active in the class.

Communicative English Class 📚📚😍

On 7 th January we had our Communicative English class by Thomas Sir .He conducted an assessment test to evaluate our previous knowledge  in Communicative English and the class was  very effective .He taught us  various uses of English language, basic grammar  etc. He introduced us to an effective study material  for improving our  English communication skills📚📚📚

Third Week of teaching practice 💖💖💖 This was our Third  week of second phase of teaching practice .we reached the school at 9:15  am and signed the register .we met our concerned teachers in the school .The teachers were motivating and friendly . During this week i finished the chapter 'Tolstoy Farm' and from a railway carriage. Before directly entering into the chapter i create an informal talk .Thus i created an idea about the chapter . I used Activity card for giving questions related to the chapter .Each day i used various games and fun puzzle question to make the students active and everything worked well.This week we had a Memory development training programs for  students  on Thursday . students activily participated in the program.
